Alan Friel is an Irish filmmaker who has won numerous awards for his commercials and short films. With a background in Fine Art he combines a warm, lyrical quality with a visual flare that runs throughout his work.

As a keen storyteller, he captures real life with an observational eye and has created films for major brands such as BurgerKing, Persil, Pedigree and Purina to name just a few of his clients.

Alan has written for Bad Robot & Paramount Studios – his debut feature Woken, which he wrote and directed, stars Erin Kellyman
(Starwars Solo) & Maxine Peake (The Theory Of Everything) and is currently doing the festival circuit.
