Hugo Keijzer has developed and directed pivotal films for large international corporations and disruptive brands, such as VISA, ING, Duvel and Converse. His most acclaimed work includes “The Milk Story” for FrieslandCampina, “Science Can Change the World” for DSM and “Denham Psycho” for Denham the Jeanmaker. These films are exemplary work for Hugo’s creative strength; combining gripping narrative with stunning aesthetics.

Hugo learned the craft – not in school – but by directing more than three hundred films, from music videos to brand films, from TV commercials to shorts. In every project Hugo does, he is involved in the development of the story, whether it’s creating the concept from scratch, or refining the idea until it’s ready to shoot.

Hugo believes in the power of collaboration; filmmaking is a collective art. He takes pride in his close relationship with talented writers, actors, visual artists and – most of all – his clients. He harnesses the power of the team to accomplish a rare level of detail and sense of scale in his work.

Hugo is currently developing his debut feature film Only You, a psychological thriller set in New England.
